The Gallery is one of three individual B&Bs situated on a five acre property, Bella Cosa in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region. It used to be owned by artist Peter Maddox and is still the home to many of the sculptures he created in his time here. Rent all three spaces together for a getaway with up to 10 of your friends or family.

Only 45 minutes south of Adelaide, Bella Cosa lies between the picturesque townships of McLaren Vale & McLaren Flat. The area is known for its world-class wines and culinary experiences, as well as pristine natural attractions. The region hosts more than 80 cellar doors and has 30 kilometres of breath-taking coastline. Bella Cosa is only a few minutes drive to the centre of McLaren Vale, walking distance to McLaren Flat and is central to many wineries and restaurants.

Amazing space, very close to all the local spots! The view from the bathroom was mesmerising and the space itself was very homey! Definitely will return at a later date. The hosts provide a guide for the place as well so you can be informed ahead of time of their local recommendations etc. We had a lovely time!

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights stay in the Gallery accommodation. The location is perfect for exploring all the local area has to offer. The host Mel was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. I would highly recommend staying at Bella Cosa.

✨Forest and vineyard views - what more could you wish for?! ✨. This AirBNB had it all from the views, to a fireplace (no work required might I add!), private and intimate bathroom with his and hers shower and bathtub with full view of the trees above. Close to town, with plenty of local reviews of wine choices. Thanks to the host for this homely stay!

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at The Gallery in Bella Cosa. The atmosphere was stunning, and we felt truly spoilt with all the thoughtful touches and goodies provided. The location is so peaceful, offering the perfect escape. The guide that Mel and Craig have put together is fantastic—clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to access the property and use the facilities, along with plenty of recommendations for things to do nearby. You can really tell they care about their guests and are dedicated to creating a wonderful experience. A special mention to the sculpture art by Peter Maddox, which adds such a unique and artistic flair to the space. It was the perfect blend of beauty and tranquility. The Gallery was absolutely stunning, one of the best appointed bathrooms I've ever seen as well as an immaculately furnished space. We also really enjoyed the wander through the sculpture woods, with the seats and blankets up the top a delightful touch to help us watch the sunset in comfort. The local guide was very helpful, and the local provisions provided were delicious. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the Vale. Thank you so much!

I stayed at The Gallery at Bella Cosa. The place is cozy and stunning!! The highlight was bathroom with the bath looking to a window wall facing the bush. This is very romantic cottage that invites you to relax and enjoy. I strongly recommend Bella Cosa for any romantic getaway or if you simply want to treat yourself to peaceful weekend of indulgence.
