The Gallery is one of three individual B&Bs situated on a five acre property, Bella Cosa in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region. It used to be owned by artist Peter Maddox and is still the home to many of the sculptures he created in his time here. Rent all three spaces together for a getaway with up to 10 of your friends or family.

Only 45 minutes south of Adelaide, Bella Cosa lies between the picturesque townships of McLaren Vale & McLaren Flat. The area is known for its world-class wines and culinary experiences, as well as pristine natural attractions. The region hosts more than 80 cellar doors and has 30 kilometres of breath-taking coastline. Bella Cosa is only a few minutes drive to the centre of McLaren Vale, walking distance to McLaren Flat and is central to many wineries and restaurants.

Wow! Clearly lots of thought has gone into making this a cosy and functional space. The fully equipped kitchen and the double vanity/shower in the bathroom were functional and very much appreciated, while the elegant details and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pine plantation made the space feel luxurious. Our family stayed in the chapel next door with a pool which was extremely convenient! Not to mention the locally sourced breakfast provisions were delicious. Thanks Mel, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time.

Absolutely stunning property. Could not recommend Bella Cosa highly enough. Beautiful, thoughtfully designed and furnished throughout. Even better than the photos. And that bath! We were in town for the Tour Downunder and could not have picked a better location.
